What Are Retargeting Campaigns?

Retargeting Campaigns are an opportunity to re-engage with users via one-time, scheduled campaigns based on segmentations. Retargeting Campaigns can be sent via WhatsApp, FB Messenger, Push Notifications*, SMS* and Email*.

Once your campaign has been created, the system will search for the relevant, segmented users before sending them your message.

Creating a Retargeting Campaign: The Basics

1. Log in to Tictuk.
2. Go to Marketing Tools and select Retargeting Campaigns.
3. Click [Create New Campaign].
4. Set up the parameters.




Creating a Retargeting Campaign: Targeting Rules

Before creating the campaign itself, first you must establish which users you wish to target. The variables you need to define are listed below. 

PLEASE NOTE: Only the fields relevant to your campaign need to be modified.



Gender

Filter by gender (where applicable).


Orders Amount

The amount of previous orders made by those you wish to target. Type a high number ('99') in order to create a campaign that reaches all previous campaigns.


Previously Purchased Items

Target users who ordered a specific item or leave it blank to target as many users as possible. 


Added to Cart But Didn't Order 

Target users who added a specific product/products to their cart but didn't complete their order. 


Last Engagement

Target only those users with sessions in the previous [PERIOD OF TIME].


Target By Platform

Select the platform(s) you wish this campaign to use for for sending messages; if you select none, all platforms will be enabled.


Target By Order Type

Select the order types (Delivery, Pick Up, etc)  you wish this campaign to target. Only customers with a session that matches the order type(s) will receive the message; if you select none, all Order Types will be enabled.


Reference

The messages will only be sent to users who came to your ordering system via the reference code you type in this field.


Launch Date

Select the start date and launch time for the campaign. If this section isn't changed or modified, the campaign will automatically start within an hour.

Creating a Retargeting Campaign: Customize Your Campaign

Start filling in your campaign information on the left side; you can preview how users are going to see it in the right side.

If the user's last interaction was via WhatsApp, the message will reach them via WhatsApp; if it was via Facebook Messenger, it will be via Facebook Messenger.


Leave the WhatsApp Template Name section blank. For info regarding Template Messages, please refer to this article or reach out to
your customer success manager for further info.

Creating a Retargeting Campaign: Save/Launch Your Campaign

Once you have created your campaign, you have the following options available to you:



Save & Launch: Instantly launch your campaign.

Save & Pause: If you've set everything up but aren't quite ready to launch, choose this option.

Discard all changes: Nothing will be saved.

Managing Your Campaign: The Basics

Once your campaign has been saved/launched, manage everything via the campaign dashboard:



PAUSED: You campaign is currently on pause.

RUNNING: Your campaign has been activated/is running; keep track of KPIs such as how many users saw your message; how many users clicked on the CTA; total sales, etc.

DELETE: To delete a campaign click the trash can icon on the right hand side.
