With this streamlined Deep links feature, you can easily create, manage, and optimize direct links to specific sections within your app or website, enhancing user experience and supporting targeted marketing efforts.
HOW DEEPLINKS WORK
Deeplinks are designed to intelligently direct users based on their device and app availability:
Mobile with App Installed: Opens the specific destination directly within the app.
Mobile without App Installed: Redirects the user to the app store (Google Play or Apple App Store) to download the app.
Desktop: Opens the specified destination on the website.
DASHBOARD CONFIGURATION
1. Log in to Tictuk.
2. Go to MAIN ORG, which is the general store that has the entire chain.
3. Go to the "Marketing Tools" section snd select "Deep Links".
4. Click "New Link for App & Web".
- Choose a title for your link.
- CUSTOM URL PATH - A unique part of the URL that appears at the end of the Deep link and is automatically generated but can be customized during creation to make it more readable. Note: This path cannot be edited after the Deep link is created.
- CHOOSE URL DESTINATION - The page that users will be directed to when they click on the Deep link.
- SET ORDER TYPE - You can set the order type ("pick up") for a specific store. This ensures that when users click the Deep link, the order type is set accordingly, overriding any previously selected options.
- ATTACH A COUPON - A predefined coupon can be linked to the deep link allowing it to be applied to the user’s order when the Deep link is clicked.
- ATTACH AN ITEM - Similarly, a specific item can be attached from the menu, adding it to the user’s order upon clicking the Deep link.
After you have completed the required fields, click "Save and Copy." The new link will be saved and displayed in the "Deep Links" tab.
