Analytics (Overview)

Analytics (Overview)

The Analytics page provides multiple insights into the behavior of your users/customers. Everything on the page is clickable, allowing you to segment/target different audiences in order to make data-driven decisions that increase conversions and encourage brand loyalty.

1. Dates & Filters

This is the starting point for any data analysis. Begin by selecting the range of dates you wish to analyze, then further refine your analysis by using different filters.

  • Filter by Ref - Whenever you create a campaign/promotion, you have the option of giving that campaign its own unique reference code in order to track its performance; type that code into the 'Filter by Ref' section to monitor the performance of that specific campaign.

  • Filter by Store(s) - This option enables filtering by one or more stores. It's important to note that the Analytics tool initially shows data for the entire chain.

  • Filter by Order Type - You can filter data by order type, such as Delivery, Pickup, Curbside, or Tableside.

  • Filter by Channel - This allows you to filter data by different channels; make sure to select all available channel options under each channel type. For example:

Under the Chat channel, include WhatsApp and Messenger
Under the Web channel, include Web and Mobile Web
Under the App channel, include iOS and Android
  • Once you have set the desired filters, click 'Display Results' to view the different sections of data.

2.  Main Overview

In this section, you have immediate access to your main KPIs (key performance indicators) as per the dates and filters selected previously.

Sessions - The total number of sessions that occurred within the specified time frame. In WhatsApp, a 'session' is when a user initiates a conversation by sending a message, regardless of whether an actual order was placed or not.

The percentage you see in the Session box represents the conversion rate (CVR); this is calculated by dividing the total number of sessions by the total number of orders:

  • Unique Users - The total number of unique users within the specified time frame. A unique user is defined as the first session initiated by a user. Multiple sessions by the same user are not counted as unique.

  • The percentage you see in the Unique Users box represents the conversion rate (CVR), calculated by dividing the total number of unique users by the total number of orders:

  • Orders - The total number of orders placed within the specified time frame.

  • Sales - The total revenue generated from orders within the specified time frame (displayed in market’s local currency)

  • Average Sale - A calculation of the total sales divided by the total number of orders, providing the average value of each order:

3. Charts & Graphs

  • Session Funnel - This chart displays the number of users at each step of the order funnel, indicating the progression and drop-off points. By selecting specific channels or order types in the Dates & Filters section, it lets you investigate the reasons behind users abandoning their cart.

  • Channels - This chart illustrates the percentage of orders originating from each channel, providing insights into the distribution of orders across different communication channels.

  • Order Types - This chart shows which percentage of orders involved deliveries versus though which involved pickups.

  • Payment Method - This chart presents the percentage breakdown of payment methods used across total sessions, giving an overview of the preferred payment methods among users.

Clicking on either of these graphs allows us to dive deeper ('Drill Down Report') into Successful or Un-Successful sessions:

Both options provide a list of sessions; each session can then be explored further by viewing a chart, chat and order summary.

The [Copy This User List] and [Re-Target These Users] buttons enable you to execute various marketing campaigns, including creating a 'lookalike audience' on Facebook or launching targeted campaigns using the marketing tools available in the dashboard.

PLEASE NOTE: The option to view Drill Down Reports, Copy User Lists and Re-Target Users applies to ALL charts.
  • Locations - This graph shows where your orders are coming from geographically (a). Clicking on the button in the top right corner will reveal a breakdown of the revenue generated from each specific location (b). Clicking on the ⬇️ will reveal a breakdown of the Sessions and Orders for specific locations (c).

PLEASE NOTE: When you see the $ and ⬇️ on the top right corner other charts/graphs, they serve exactly the same function as those just described. Names/locations have been removed from certain graphs/charts for privacy purposes.
  1. Inside/Outside Delivery Zones (Heat Map) - This map displays the areas that fall within and outside the designated delivery/pickup zones, and provides valuable data for analysis: on one hand, you can examine successful or failed deliveries within approved zones and identify any issues in specific areas; on the other hand, you can explore non-delivery zones and analyze the failed sessions that occurred in those areas (as they were outside the delivery zones). This information can help you determine whether to expand the delivery zone radius or consider the possibility of opening a new location.

  1. Week Days Sessions - The graph provides a weekly breakdown of 'Rush Hours', or periods of peak activity. For example, on Sunday at 16:00, there was a significant spike in sessions compared to other days of the week, and you can then plan your marketing activities and strategies based on that knowledge.

Daily Sessions/Orders: please note that while this graph is currently unavailable, it displays the daily conversion rate, showcasing the relationship between sessions, orders, and the conversion rate.

  1. Top 7 Stores - This graph provides a breakdown of the top-performing stores within the selected period, displaying the number of sessions and orders for each store (a). Clicking on the downward arrow button in the right upper corner allows you to view a comprehensive breakdown of this information for the entire organization (b). Clicking on the dollar button in the upper right corner will provide you with a detailed breakdown of the sales statistics from all stores (c).

  1. Referrals - This graph lets you analyze the impact of each coupon code using 'Referrals' on sessions and orders. It provides insights into the effectiveness of different coupon codes in driving customer engagement and conversions (a). The $ button in the top right corner will show you the entire sales coming from each referral and will rank them from the highest to lowest amount. The downward arrow allows you to view the impact of referrals on sessions and orders in greater detail (c).

  1. Correlations: Items to Options/Items to Items - This graph illustrates the connections between different items or options. By hovering over an item on the graph, you can view the corresponding session orders, sales, and conversion rate (CVR) related to that item.

  1. User Loyalty and Sales Analyzed - The User Loyalty chart displays the percentage of clients who have made 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5+ orders, and their contribution to the total order amount. The Sales Analyzed chart categorizes the average sale into three options: 'above avg', 'x2 above avg', or 'below avg'.

Upsell and Upgrades - This chart shows the number of sessions and orders that each upsell or upgrade has contributed to the total amount.
